Can Myend read my messages?

No. Every message — text, audio, or video — is end-to-end encrypted the moment you save it. Only the recipient you named can ever open it. We can’t read your letters or watch your videos, even if we were asked to.

Who can see a message before it's delivered?

No one. A sealed message stays encrypted and unreadable until its delivery moment arrives — not the recipient, not another Legacy Contact, not Myend. While it’s a Draft, only you can see it.

If my Legacy Contact chooses the delivery moment, can they read it first?

They control the timing, not the content. Someone you trust can decide when a message is released, but it stays encrypted for its recipient the whole time — they’re holding a sealed envelope, not reading over your shoulder.

Where are my videos and voice recordings stored?

Encrypted, on EU-based infrastructure. Files of up to 4GB are stored the same way as everything else in your vault — decryptable only by you and the people you’ve chosen.

Can I delete or change a message after writing it?

Any time before it’s delivered. Rewrite it, re-record it, move the date, or delete it outright — whether it’s a Draft or marked Ready. Nothing is final until its moment comes.
