Your account settings are where you manage your personal information, your privacy, and your security — so you always stay in control of your data on Myend.
Personal information
This is the basic information tied to your account. Keep it current — it’s what your Legacy Contacts and, eventually, your plan will rely on.
- First name
- Last name
- Birthday
- Gender
- Phone number
- Address
- Password
Update your email or password here any time. If you change your email, make sure it’s one you’ll still have access to — it’s how Myend reaches you about your account.
Plan & billing
You can see and manage your plan under Account → Plans & Billing. Myend’s plans are one-time purchases, not subscriptions — with one exception:
- Free ($0) — your first conversation with Justine, your first directive and contacts, and a 10-document vault.
- Starter ($19 one-time) — all directives and contacts, PDF export, and the E-Will, with plenty of room to complete your plan with Justine.
- Complete ($99 one-time) — everything in Starter, plus your Last Will & Testament, cloud sync, the legacy portal, and Proof of Life monitoring. The first year of updates is included; after that it’s $25/year to keep Proof of Life monitoring active, refresh your will, and top up your Justine allowance.
If you’re on Complete and choose not to renew, nothing is taken away — everything you’ve written stays yours, viewable and exportable, for as long as you want it. Justine’s help is generous on every plan, but it isn’t unlimited, so it’s worth pacing your sessions if you’re partway through a plan.
Privacy & personalization
This is where you handle your data, your activity, and your preferences.
- Export or print your plan. Download a copy of your Myend account — your directives, vault entries, contacts, and messages — as a backup, or print it for safekeeping alongside your other important papers.
- Delete your account. You can permanently delete your Myend account at any time, along with all of its data, messages, and contacts. This can’t be undone, so export a copy first if there’s anything you want to keep.
Behind the scenes, your plan is encrypted and Myend staff cannot read it — your vault entries specifically are secured with AES-256 encryption, applied client-side. Your answers are never used to train AI models. Your plan belongs to you — if you ever leave Myend, everything goes with you.
Are you a Legacy Contact?
A Legacy Contact is someone a Myend user has trusted to carry out their wishes. If you’ve been named as one, you don’t need your own Myend account to hold that role — but you can also stay in control of it from your account settings if you do have one.
Access isn’t automatic. Three things have to line up before a Legacy Contact can see anything: the Access Key sent with the invitation, email verification, and the account owner’s Proof of Life check-ins lapsing. Until all three are in place, a Legacy Contact cannot view directives, messages, contacts, or vault items — and they can never change the plan itself.
What if you lose access? If you’re a Legacy Contact and lose access to the account you represent, you don’t need a personal Myend account to sort it out — simply ask the person you’re representing to resend you a Legacy Contact invitation.
